Covid-19 Updates

Updated 1/05/2021:

We are back in business! We have finally reopened our doors to our gymnasts and hope that this time, we stay open!

Due to the current government guidelines, we have stringent safety measures in place. Please read the following very carefully:-

  • Your gymnast must bring a small, plastic box that can fit all of their belongings inside. This box will be carried around the gym whilst they train.

  • You must drop off your gymnast at the gate on timeand wait until a coach has collected them. No parents/guardians are permitted to enter the gym.

  • We have a one way system in place inside the gym and plenty hand sanitizing stations available. Your gymnasts are also welcome to use their own hand sanitizer - please put this inside their gym box.

  • Throughout the session, gymnasts must stay 2m apart from gymnasts of another household.

  • At the end of the session, coaches will escort gymnasts out of the building, ready for you to collect them.

  • You must come to the gate to collect your gymnast. *Please do not wait in your cars!* If we cannot see you, we cannot let your gymnast leave.

Unfortunately, our viewing area is currently closed. We have utilized this space as a stretch and conditioning room for our gymnasts.

Renaming our club!

Bury Gymnastics are proud to announce that we have recently renamed our gym the 'Paul Reay Gymnastics Centre' after our former coach.  The unveiling was held on 12th  May 2018, with family, friends, coaches and gymnasts all in attendance. Not only did we unveil the renaming of our club, but also the installation of a new Beam in Paul's honour.

The beam and renaming has been funded by the Paul Reay Memorial Fund and the club and Paul's family would like to thank all those who have contributed or helped raise funds

The unveiling was a special day and photos of the event can be seen below.
